e-RUPI Digital Rupee Guide: A Cashless and Contactless Payment Platform
The e-RUPI Digital Payment Platform is a new initiative launched by the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi. It is a cashless and contactless payment system that uses a QR code or SMS string-based e-voucher to make digital payments. The platform has been developed by the National Payments Corporation of India on its UPI platform, in collaboration with the Department of Financial Services, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and the National Health Authority.
The e-RUPI digital payment platform aims to provide a secure and easy payment system for citizens. This payment platform connects sponsors, beneficiaries, and service providers in a digital manner without any physical interface. The e-RUPI digital payment platform is available in various banks, including Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Indusind Bank, Indian Bank, Kotak Bank, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India, and Union Bank of India.
